About Anjana

My name is Anjana Narasimhan, and I’m running for Vice President of Campus Internal Affairs.

My platform centers on enhancing R’Campus experiences, by celebrating R’Cultures, and fostering R’Careers.

I'm deeply committed to diversity, amplifying student voices, and ensuring resource accessibility to create a vibrant and inclusive community at UCR. With two years of experience in student government, serving as BCOE Senator and Executive Fellow for the Office of the President, I've spearheaded campus-wide events like the Global Fair, BCOE Townhalls, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Fair, Financial Literacy with Bank of America and Womxn in Unity workshops. I've advocated for crucial issues such as campus safety, student organization funding, menstrual product accessibility, improved bike lane access, and energy conservation in campus buildings. If elected, I'll prioritize organizing resource fairs, promoting internships and academic opportunities, supporting cultural diversity, mental health awareness, and advocating for sexual health and violence prevention. I'm dedicated to collaborating with student organizations, Ethnic & Gender Programs, Campus Departments and administration to voice R’Students concerns.
